Below is the real Accessible Trade Terminal engine, cut down to a handful of markets so it is safe to explore and nothing can be traded for money. It opens on a daily BTC/USD chart from Bitstamp, already drawn — there is nothing to set up. To try another, pick it in the Symbol dropdown and press the Load chart button. The demo carries BTC/USD and ETH/USD on Bitstamp, Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and SPY, and EUR/USD, on four-hour or daily candles. Then click into the chart and use your keyboard — arrow keys to move between candles, - and = to zoom, Space to play the chart as sound. Add a 20 EMA or an RSI with the buttons. Turn your screen reader on and put your headphones in: every move is spoken and sonified. Works with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and Orca.

What to listen for

  1. The pitch of price

    A steady tone rises and falls with the close of each candle. A long uptrend sounds like a slow scale climbing. A sharp drop sounds like a short descending slide. Press Space in the demo to play it.

  2. A bell for each crossover

    When a fast moving average crosses a slow one, a short sine bell rings — clean, clear, unmistakable. A bearish cross has a lower pitch than a bullish cross.

  3. Rough at the extremes

    Add an RSI and push it into overbought or oversold: its tone turns rough — a grain you can hear the moment momentum stretches — and smooths back to clean as it returns to the middle.

  4. Where the volume sits

    Add the volume profile (VPVR) and scan it: the price levels where the most trading happened sound loudest, so you can hear support and resistance instead of just reading about them.

  5. Stereo panning as you scan

    Pan ] to scroll forward. The soundscape moves across your speakers from left to right, anchoring you in the visible window.
